The Best And Worst Places In The World To Be A Woman

This infographic crunches data on maternal health, economic status, education, contraception use, and other factors to show where women are doing well and where their lives can be exceptionally hard.

A couple things:
I have a problem with charts like these that try to quantify quality of life for women, especially ones that don’t account for violence against women or, say, eating disorders - I’m not sure why that’s not included in this infographic (perhaps because it’s incredibly difficult to get reliable stats?) - but something like this doesn’t give the full picture of what life is like for women across the globe. You can’t exactly quantify rape culture, now, can you?
Also, the classification of “developed”, “less developed”, and “least developed” seems ridiculously arbitrary. What makes China or Turkey less developed than Serbia or Romania? Meh.
